An Uneventful Day

  • I woke up, laid in bed for another half hour.
  • Took a shower.
  • Ate my free continental breakfast. (Raisin brand cereal, orange juice and a sweet roll.)
  • Packed the bike.
  • Layered up.(That means I put on multiple layers of clothing to keep warm)
  • Put on my leathers. (Chaps and leather jacket)
  • Got on I-80 heading west (Temperature was 46 degrees).
  • Listened to songs on my iPod.
  • Stopped for Gas after 110 miles. (Put my iPod away)
  • Sang multiple songs (Most of them I only sang part of the first verse, and then make up my own words, as I forgot the original word.)
  • Stopped for gas after 109 miles. (Had a sore throat from singing two hours solid)
  • Read every sign along this stretch of the highway.
  • Pulled into Laramie, Wyoming after 130 miles
  • Looked for historic Fort Laramie to tour and realized it was 80 miles north of Laramie. (That seemed odd; I was looking forward to exploring the fort where thousands of our pioneers went through)
  • Checked into a motel.
  • Had a late lunch, early dinner at Winegars.
  • Worked on my Blog.
  • I am now leaving to the local movie theater to see the new Indiana Jones Movie.
  • The End.
